1. Scope
The following General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop on Shopify.
Our online shop is intended exclusively for consumers.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to their commercial nor their independent professional activity.

By placing products in our online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these products.
You can place products in your shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided during the checkout process.
The contract is concluded when you submit your order by clicking the order button and receive an order confirmation email.
3. Contract Language and Contract Text Storage
The contract language available for the conclusion of the contract is English.
We save the contract text and send you the order details and these General Terms and Conditions in text form by email after your order has been placed.
4. Subject of the Contract
4.1 Product Description
The respective product description displayed in our online shop forms an essential part of the contract.
4.2 Product Images and Handmade Characteristics
We offer hand-painted, eco-friendly kitchenware including lunch boxes, tumblers, bowls, mugs, coasters, trays, and related items made from stainless steel and other materials.
Due to the handmade and hand-painted nature of our products, slight variations in color, design, and finish may occur. Product images are for reference only. Each item is uniquely made.
5. Delivery Conditions
5.1 Delivery Area
We currently ship within Germany only.
5.2 Delivery Address
Products are shipped to the delivery address provided by you during the checkout process.
5.3 Shipping Times
Orders are dispatched from Berlin, Germany. Delivery times shown in the online shop are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays or circumstances beyond our control.
6. Prices and Payment
6.1 Prices
All prices are listed in EUR (€).
Prices are not subject to VAT in accordance with §19 UStG (small business regulation).
6.2 Payment Due Date
Payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract. Goods will be dispatched only after full payment has been received.
6.3 Payment Methods
The payment methods available are displayed during the checkout process. Payments are processed securely via Shopify and its supported payment providers.
7. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier) takes possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Bee Sanctuary, Berlin – 13055, Germany, Email: kokkum.shop@gmail.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement (e.g. by email).
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, excluding shipping costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive the returned goods.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of the withdrawal.
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
8. Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
9. Transport Damage
If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such damage to the delivery driver immediately and contact us without delay.
Failure to report transport damage does not affect your statutory rights, in particular your warranty rights. However, your cooperation helps us to assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurance company.
10. Warranty
The statutory warranty rights under German law apply.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, as well as in cases of intent or gross negligence.
In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
12. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

13. Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR):

We are not obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
14. Governing Law
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Mandatory consumer protection laws of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
15. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. In place of the invalid provision, the statutory provisions shall apply.
